Is-sinjal għal PASTA (ħelwa) għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir wieħed mis-sinjali għal ĦELU. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ B bl-id ftit laxka, bis-swaba’ ppuntati lejn il-ġenb u bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. L-id timxi min-naħa għall-oħra tal-wiċċ quddiem ix-xufftejn. (ii) Imbagħad id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ F imma bis-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej jiffurmaw ċirku. L-id timxi pass ’il quddiem, ieħor lejn ’il ġenb, ieħor lura qisu qed tqiegħed xi ħaġa fuq postijiet qrib xulxin fuq żewġ ringieli.
The sign for CREAM CAKE has two parts. (i) First one of the signs for SWEET is made. One hand takes the shape of slightly loose B with fingers pointing to the side and with palm facing inwards. The hand moves from one side of the face to the other in front of the lips. (ii) Then one hand takes the shape of F but with the thumb and index finger forming a circle. The hand moves one stop forward, another to the side, then back again as though placing items close to each other in two rows.
